New Business Cards

Well it took me a year of job searching before I went back to the inevitable - attempting to work for myself! My last 6 months in LA I was an actual working photographer - so it is time I go for the same thing here in South Florida.

After a year I have met a few people and my mum has met a LOT of people, so the networking begins. I ordered these business cards yesterday - now it's time to start handing them out! Wish me luck!

20 years later

I discovered my love of photography back in High School. Back then I didn't have much in the way of fancy camera equipment - and my work in the dark room developing B&W pictures of my classmates - left a lot to be desired in the way of contrast and lighting - but it was a joy and passion nevertheless.

A few weeks ago I attended my 20 year High School reunion in Pennsylvania and had the experience of showing some of the photos I took back then in a slideshow as well as being the "event photographer" for the evening as well. Here are a few of my favorites from the evening

Beautiful catering at the McMeekin's home, the post party that was the highlight of the evening!

Old Girlfriends are the best! They know you from when you were young and geeky - and love you more then anyone.  I am blessed so many of them are still a part of my life!

Catching up on old times and new.

The classmates and their spouses - have to say  - not looking to shabby for a group of people all about to hit the huge 4 - 0 !!!!

The McMeekins.....High School sweethearts - still together!!! Now if that doesn't give a jaded single girl some hope I don't know what does! :-)

Event Photography is fun when you are a part of the event - but more challenging as I wanted to be a part of the festivities and people wanted me to be in the photos - so my camera kept getting taken away from me! It was a load of fun all around!  Even after I showed the video I edited of us in all of our 18 year old drunken/silly glory!
